All this talk of snow reminded me of some of the photographs I took of Central Park snowfall about a year ago. Despite already living in New York City for 6 years, I had never gone to Central Park after a snow storm until last December in 2013. My lack of proper snow boots posed a problem while trying to walk up up a trail. I quickly realized there was a thick layer of ice underneath the fresh snow. The falls in the snow were worth these photographs.
